What are Reiki & Jharra?

Jharra, is rooted in the ancient Vedic traditions of India. It’s a healing technique in which the practitioner repeats Sacred Mantras while sweeping peacock feathers over a person’s body, thereby clearing out dis-harmony. This modality is named Jharra as it means “sweep” in Sanskrit. Peacock feathers hold all the colors of the rainbow/chakras (balance and harmony symbol) plus the “eye” in the feather represents the third eye, or intuition. They are said to carry Spiritual Healing Energy that can be used to assist people seeking balance and harmony in their lives.
Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing technique founded by Mikao Usui and brought to the western world by Hawayo Takata. In a session, the practitioner channels universal life force energy to the client using ancient symbols in order to activate the natural healing processes of the body and restore physical and emotional well-being.
